Biography

Born in Udine. Achieves the degree for percussion instruments with the highest grade.
In the context of classical music, he worked with various symphony orchestras such as: “A. Toscanini” in Parma, RAI Torino and RAI Milano, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and others, under the direction of S. Argiris, M. Sasson, V. Delman, D. Oren, Z. Metha, etc.

After a year he is eligible to teach percussions in conservatories.
Beside classical music, Loris has always been interested in ethnic languages, latin and jazz, and is dedicated to composing and working with artists like: Piero Bassini, Mario Zara, Enrico Fazio, Tito Mangialajo, Piero Leveratto, Nicola Muresu, Stefano Senni, Attilio Zanchi, Flaco Biondini, Andrea Braido, Franco Brambati, Augusto Mancinelli, Stefano Bagnoli, Giorgio Di Tullio, Marco Ricci, Roberto Martinelli, Tony Scott, Guido Bombardieri, Eleonora D’Ettole, Paola Folli, Emanuele Cisi, Paolo Fresu, Fabrizio Bosso, Alberto Mandarini, Daniele Di Gregorio, Andrea Dulbecco, Gianni Coscia and others.
He perfected himself also by studying drums with Enrico Lucchini and percussions with Ernestico Rodriguez, Candelo Cabezas and Alex Acuna.
In March 2001 takes part in a percussions and drums masterclass held by Horacio Hernandez and Elvin Jones in Ravenna.
Since 1992 he taught in the conservatories of Cesena, Cuneo, Milan and Parma, and currently teaches percussions in the conservatory “L. Campiani” in Mantua.
